A refreshing summertime treat that only need staghorn sumac berries, water, and whichever sweetener you decide.
Directions
- Pick 1-2 clusters of staghorn sumac berries.
- Carefully separate sumac berries from the stems; crush slightly.
- Place 1 cup of sumac berries in a large pitcher.
- Pour 6-8 cups of cold water over sumac berries.
- Stir well.
- May be sweetened with sugar or honey; may also add a few sprigs of mint.
- Strain and serve.
