Untold Toronto is a digital storytelling project that brings together four unique works by Black Toronto artists, exploring identity, community, culture, and what it means to tell Toronto’s stories today.

Through film, conversations, interviews, podcasts, and mixed-media storytelling, the project shares a range of perspectives on the Black Toronto experience. From celebrating Black women and girls and exploring the experiences of Toronto’s Black LGBTQ+ community, to conversations among Black Torontonian men and a look at the city’s distinctive slang, each work offers a different lens on contemporary Toronto.

Together, these stories capture a moment in the diverse landscape of people and perspectives that shape the city.
