Toronto Confessions: Love It or Hate It

Candid conversations with artists and community leaders about Toronto.

Museum of Toronto’s live storytelling event, Toronto Confessions, returns to The Second City. This speaker series brings together an eclectic mix of knowledge keepers, artists and performers, and civic and community leaders for an evening of candid conversation about what makes Toronto unique and the threads that connect us in this ever-changing city.

Hosted by acclaimed actress and comedian Aurora Browne, this edition brings together a wide range of Toronto voices, including acclaimed filmmaker and two-time Academy Award nominee Atom Egoyan; Mohawk and Tuscarora playwright and broadcaster Falen Johnson; food writer and host of CBC’s Locals Welcome, Suresh Doss; journalist and national bestselling author of Life After Ambition, Amil Niazi; Hollywood Jade, Canada’s Drag Race choreographer and winner of The Traitors Canada; Pete Bombaci, founder of the GenWell Project; and Sam East of 99.9 Virgin Radio.
