Scents of Toronto

Blend a custom fragrance inspired by Toronto’s neighbourhoods, landmarks, and hidden stories.

What does Toronto smell like?

Join us for a unique fragrance workshop that invites you to experience the city through scent. Inspired by the stories, places, and memories featured throughout the exhibition, participants will explore Toronto’s hidden histories while creating a custom fragrance of their own.

Perhaps it’s the smell of Bathurst Station, the wafting breeze off the waterfront, or Kensington Market on a Pedestrian Sunday. Guided by local perfumery Orris Labs, you’ll blend scents that capture your personal connection to the city while discovering how fragrance can evoke memory, place, and emotion.

Part storytelling experience and part hands-on workshop, this program offers a creative new way to engage with Toronto and the stories that shape it.

Presented in partnership with Orris Labs, a Toronto-based fragrance studio dedicated to creating memorable scent experiences that inspire creativity, connection, and self-expression.
