You Belong Here: An Interactive Exhibition

You Belong Here: An Interactive Exhibition is a civic-pride experience from the Museum of Toronto designed to foster a deeper connection with our city.

Adapted from the famous Arthur Aron study on human love, this project uses questions across themed stations to help participants explore their relationship with Toronto.

Belonging isn’t just something we feel – it’s something we practice every day through small, intentional acts. This exhibition invites Torontonians to explore the ways we connect to our communities, our neighbours, and our own identities.

You’ll find activities that ask questions, invite reflection, and encourage participation. You can answer all of them, or only the ones that speak to you. Share your thoughts, experiences, and creativity – through words, threads, maps, and letters.

Discover how you fit into the larger story of Toronto. See how your neighbours, friends, and fellow Torontonians build, claim, and share belonging.
