Panel Talk: Home Game – A Community Sport on the Court

Explore how basketball empowers communities, connects people across difference, and inspires real change on and off the court.

Basketball is more than a game , it’s a force for connection, empowerment, and social change.

In a city as diverse as Toronto, basketball offers a shared language across identities, neighbourhoods, and generations. This panel brings together local leaders who use the game to build community, foster inclusion, and open doors for youth and families across the city.

We’ll explore how grassroots programs, mentorship, and access to play can inspire cooperation, leadership, and lasting change.
