Behind Toronto’s Favourite Kids TV Shows with Legendary Puppeteer Nina Keogh

This curatorial tour features insights from legendary puppeteer Nina Keogh, alongside the Museum’s curatorial team, as they share behind-the-scenes stories from iconic shows including Mr. Dressup, Polka Dot Door, Today’s Special, and Degrassi.

Nina Keogh is a third-generation Canadian puppeteer whose career spans more than five decades. Best known for performing Muffy the Mouse on Today’s Special, she has also contributed to Mr. Dressup, Polka Dot Door, and Bookmice, and remains a key figure in Canadian children’s television history.
